Chaye Khaana is found in Islamabad, Lahore and now in Karachi. The place has a modern yet retro vibe to it. The restaurant has vintage-like movie posters hanging down the wall, to give the magic of classical cinema. The décor does do it justice, with the chess wooden tables, small library shelf and dim yellow hanging lamps. There are small corners which visitors come to enjoy and have privacy as well. The menu of the restaurant is divided among the sections such as Breakfast Menu. Some of the famous starters include chicken strips, which is served in a bucked and are well-cooked, with a subtle balance between texture, spiciness and meat quality. The tea offered at Chaaye Khana is enjoyable, as Chaaye Khana describes its tea as “not just a beverage, but a relaxant, a snack, a tradition.”
